    Schedule changes 4/11/11

With Love Triangle & Drew Carey's Improv-a-Ganza premiering April 11, there are some schedule changes.

    6:30PM - The Newlywed Game
    7:00PM - Love Triangle
    7:30PM - Baggage
    8:00PM - Improv-A-Ganza

Improv-a-Ganza will also be showing at 11PM. This means 7PM Deal or No Deal, 8PM Karn Feud, and 11PM Deal or No Deal are all being moved.
    I'm guessing the 6:30PM - 8:30PM schedule is repeated from 9:30PM - 11:30PM. Possibly Karn/O'Hurley feud will be on at 8:30 & 9PM? We'll soon find out...

Don't forget that Catch 21 moves back to 5:00PM starting next week.

So what is in store for classic shows come April?

What's going to air at 6pm? Another TNG?
If that's an open spot, GSN should consider moving C21 and have those unaired episodes appear at the timeslot.

I guess syndie DOND stays at 5:30, but what goes in at 6:00? Maybe that 1 vs. 100 return that Alex is tweeting about? Oh well, we're talking about the schedule two months in advance. I've learned that's a very risky thing to do with GSN.

I really wonder what will finally happen in April. Already Love Triangle has been pushed forward and Improv-a-Ganza has been pushed back. We'll just have to wait and see.

Not to mention Engvall Lingo coming in June. And who knows what else GSN might pick up by then? One thing is not a surprise: Wendy Williams is getting GSN's best hammock between Sherriwed and Baggage.

And one big non-surprise...Carrie Ann is apparently gone from primetime for good. You know, she was in that 7:00 slot, too, but obviously, it didn't work out. I wonder if they might slide Alfonso into that 6:00 spot, or if they're holding it for Engvall.

Is there a PDF or anything up anywhere yet? I want to know about what's going on with the classics, too, but didn't see anything on Alex's site other than the four shows just mentioned.

No PDFs yet. I'd say they will come around St. Patrick's Day or thereafter.

After all, when GSN announced the removal of many Fremantle-owned shows in February 2009 and the pickup of $25,000 Pyramid and $100,000 Pyramid, there were no PDFs posted at that time and we did not see any PDFs until sometime in March that year.

I have Directv..just saw a promo for GSN Poker. What is unique about this is that it is on the DIRECTV MESSAGE portion. You never see this for GSN. Usually reserved for special events or premiers. Proves my point that GSN is going to follow Poker into Hades if need be. Hey, might not get a 300 prime time rating, but they'lll do anything to promote it due to the investment. Someone put there rep( job?) on the line renewing this.

Must be the same person who put their rep on the line that Carrie Ann would be the perfect host for 1 VS 100...

And the same person who saw Carnie as the "future" of the network. We all know how well that one worked out, too.
