Hey all! In response to the account closure of DoubleDare89, who created a Press Your Luck game shortly before his termination, I am doing my own Press Your Luck game! This will, of course, be based on the 1983-86 CBS edition, and will use the Game$how Marathon board (with a few changes).

And now, here's the host of Press Your Luck... thunderbird6!

I thank you, Rich Fields! Hi everybody, welcome to another exciting edition of Press Your Luck! Forget Wipeout, forget everything else, we are television's most competitive game! We are! Right here! And we're going to give away a ton of money to one of these three players right here, it's good to have all three of you with us!

Now here, in my hand, I have four questions. Questions whose answers could earn you spins on the big Press Your Luck game board.

[board starts up]

The more spins you have, the more money you can win, because that board is loaded with thousands of dollars in cash, prizes, great goodies, wondrous pieces of merchandise... and each time you stop the board like this, ready... STOP!

[board stops]

You make money, like I just did, $1500! I'll just be picking that up on my way out after the show...

But also in those spaces up there is what we call a Whammy. If you land on him, he'll take away all your cash, all your prizes, all your everything, and suffice it to say... you don't want that. Okay?

But before we do that, we first have to go through this, our question round. Here's how this round's going to work. I'm going to ask a question. The first player to buzz in gets to answer that question. That answer becomes one of three possible multiple choice answers for the remaining two players. A correct buzz-in answer gets you three spins, a correct multiple choice answer will get you one spin. If you're ready, we'll start with the first question.

"Hawaii was the 50th state to be admitted to the union, and Alaska was the 49th. Which southwestern state was the 48th state to be admitted?"
