What FAILED Game shows would you like to see get another chance?

As opposed to the other thread asking about classics; I'm asking about shows that died a premature death that should get another shot at life.

Three come to mind for me: Whew!, Wipeout and the Alex-Trebek Double Dare.

For modern shows on a big network...1 vs 100, Million Dollar Password

    On GSN...Chain Reaction and Whammy!

Like I mentioned in the other thread: Trivia Trap... the first format.

For modern game shows, I'd have to agree with Lingofan97. 1 vs. 100 and Million Dollar Password, plus Power of 10.

As far as GSN goes, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Whammy!, Russian Roulette and Friend or Foe?, partially because out of all the GSN originals, they got the shortest end of the stick.

A lot of originals got cancelled in 2003, including Whammy!, Friend of Foe and Russian Roulette. Friend of Foe? I could care less about in the future. In 2011 of course four other originals got cancelled, another big year for cancellations.

Also, I was going to mention Power of 10 but the premise of it, at least in 2007 was OK. There would have to be huge format changes to that

I'll take Who's Still Standing, but the format was a lot for it may have been too "extreme" for some people. NBC had better shows to air on Monday nights later that TV season, along with the cancellation of Fear Factor

Crosswords: bring it back with unlimited returning champions, a live audience, and a giant E-paper game-board.

    Who's Still Standing
    Here's my response

I love the idea of game shows-the trivia, the intellect, the competition-but I can not stand how much talking goes on in these shows-just tell us your answer and not your life story!-The hosts can be the worsts-reiterating things over and over-just play the game! Whew! I'm glad I got that off my chest!
I woud love 1 vs. 100 and Weakest Link to be renewed.

Weakest Link was "OK" for me, but I like the idea of Russian Roulette getting revived. 1 vs 100 I bet will get tried either by NBC again, or some other network will pick it up

    I agree, except...

Get people who know how to play the damn game, re: Chain, and bring back PYL, but make it more like the GS Marathon version!

As for Password, MDP was OK but too much like Pyramid. Bring back Classic Password, with or without puzzles.

Chain Reaction had a lot of dumb contestants that didn't know how to do their chains, but every game show has their share of dumb contestants, even Wheel of Fortune.

The weakest Link- With 9 players and a good host no audience make it more like series 1/2 uk version.
Million Dollar Money Drop- I like watching the foreign versions, Keep our theme and set and pick up the paste of the show
    Whammy
Temptation would of been nice if it was like the Australian version.
Who Wants to be a Millionaire- that show is still going strong in other countries. I would prefer the original format not the stand up format its too boring.
What the blank(The match Game) fox was suppose to air this but canceled it before it made to air it looked like it would of been a fun show

I would hardly categorize Password, Millionaire or Match Game as "failed" game shows....
