Lingo turns 10 soon, and it's time to celebrate it

With the tenth anniversary of Chuck Woolery's Lingo turning 10 coming up Sunday, August 5th, GSN should do something special. For that Sunday, GSN should do a 6-hour, or even a 9-hour marathon starting at 9am. Lingo since 2002 has been GSN's most successful original since, running six season and hundreds of episodes. Only one other original has come close, which is The Newlywed Game.

Considering GSN keeps airing Lingo everyday at 12:30pm and 2:30pm, on the tenth anniversary they should do something with Chuck's version

I agree with airing Chuck's Lingo. God forbid if GSN includes Engvall episodes in there if they do indeed do a marathon of Lingo.

it should just be Chuck's Lingo, since it had 365 episodes, if not more, and they should air the first season too since we haven't seen those episodes since 2007

GSN probably won't air any tribute to LINGO. Heck, they don't even acknowledge Season one of the show.

It's just like with Catch 21. GSN seems to do this with some of these shows. I don't know why.

GSN has most likely lost the first season rights to Lingo, since it was on the Dutch set, and the gameplay/prizes were different. I could see GSN not wanting to show it to, since it just looks like it was from the 90's (not so modern), while Lingo's second season had set, and other improvements.

Lingo is 10 years old? Really? I could have sworn it was turning 25 in September.

GSN Lingo. I doubt Buzzerblog, or anybody will bring up the 25th anniversary of the original Lingo this Fall

Don't be silly. I think we all know we're talking about the GSN Lingo here.

Same thing happened with Chain Reaction back in December, then GSN got it back from the production company, or something. It just happened after a good number of years. I'm sure if GSN could they would air Woolery's first season.

Not 100% sure but it boggles the mind

That person always says stuff like that about shows he/she doesn't like. Just ignore it.

    Totally off subject too.

Back to Lingo, we have two more weeks until the tenth anniversary. It would be nice for something come August 5th for Chuck
