    GSN Ratings July 16-22

As stated at the end of last week, Steve Harvey's Family Feud pushed primetime numbers up on Wednesday night to 799K at 9:30pm. CableRanker posted the numbers for the week of July 16-22. GSN averaged 380K/286K, primetime/total day. GSN ranked 39th in primetime, and 38th in daytime.

One of the best weeks, if not the best week in 2012 of both primetime and daytime averages.

The site is TVNewser, not CableRanker. They just call the ratings list their "cable ranker" because it, well, ranks cable networks. Alex Weprin is the guy at TVNewser who usually posts the list. The site covers TV news operations and is part of a bunch of sites branded as Mediabistro.

Anything to say about some of the best GSN weekly averages in a long time....?

Already said it on the blog...

TVNewser posted their usual cable ranker for the week of July 16-22, and GSN enjoyed its best week in a while. The viewership averages were 380K/286K prime time/total day, with ranks of 39th and 38th in the windows.

In other ratings news on the blog, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy bounced back in the July 9-15 week. They had suffered some subpar ratings over the preceding weeks.

^^^^^Really, is this the best week all year. I think 380K/286K is the best for GSN since 2010 with all the Baggage and DOND success. This by far is the best week for block scheduling since its start

No way to know for sure. The numbers weren't published for every week this year and last year.
