Help with getting Oodles from playing games

So, having seen the breakdown of how many oodles you get per place on the leaderboard, I should have gotten oodles by now. Sometimes I've ranked as high as the 70s. But I never receive any oodles when I select to play for oodles, no matter how high I place. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Like, for example, I just ranked 268 on Lingo, which should earn me 10 oodles. But my oodle amount didn't change.

You have to stay on the leader board until 12:00am ET to get your credit. Your oodles are credited at 1:05am ET if you stay on.

Yeah, sb8889... the leaderboards are constantly changing throughout the day as more people play and get high scores. Where you place at midnight (for example), when the day first changes over, will be very near the top but over the next 24-hours your score will probably be pushed much further down.

However, keep on playing, because you can only BETTER your ranking... any new score you get will only register if it's higher than a previous one you achieved. But you can go to the game you play (like you mentioned, Lingo) and after midnight (Eastern) you can check on where you ranked the previous day for the final holdings.

You can either check right before midnight and it will show you where you are listed or, you can click at the bottom of the window for the leaderboard where it says, "View Recent Winners" and then you'll see where you ended up on the previous day's board. Sometimes the information isn't available until an hour or so after the day changes over though.

**EDIT: One more thing... this is also helpful for you to get an idea of how much you need to score for any game to make the final leaderboard and get oodles. All the games have that "View Recent Winners" button and if you scroll to the bottom you'll get a general idea of how much of a score it takes to place at all on the boards (like 500th for Lingo).
