Were taking it back to 2004 where you can barely see the credits anymore. The top screen is now much, much bigger. Next to the credit box, it say GSN: Game Show Network.
And also, the pop up ads during the show have become annoying. They pop up in the middle of the show and cover up important things like words during Lingo, or the time on Family Feud.
Basically because those are ads now for other shows already advertised a milllion times throughout the day. But I still find it a little suspecious that we have the "Game Show Network" text at the end of most showsOriginally Posted by Xavier1989

I hope not. That smiley face tells me nothing about the channel. The current logo with the 9 squares and the letters GSN in the middle of them actually looks good.
Incidentally, the smiley face logo looks like a logo that would be used on a Comedy channel.
I know what we're talking about here with the Smiley face logo. I'm noticing on the top left corner of my browser I now see a smiley face instead of the 9 squares GSN reguarly has everywhere else. The Smiley Face logo would bring us back to the days of Improv and sexual Lingo
Does GSN really miss their old logo and is that why they're probably going back to it now?
That logo is pretty good currently with the nine squares, plus they have different logos in different colors. The current logo isn't going anywhere for a while
They had that logo with the squares for 4 years now, I believe.
And now if you view some of the game pages, you can see a smiley face on the top right square. Check it out yourself. It looks pretty good
I still don't understand what the smiley face is supposed to represent.
Is it supposed to give the impression of a person having fun? Or a person laughing because of comedy? Or a new GSN mascot called "Smiley"... I have no idea.
A person having fun would make the most sense, considering this is a gaming website, on top of TV and Forums. If its for comedy, ugh: Improv. Hope nothing like that comes back to the network
I noticed that today during Woolery Lingo. It annoyed me when I was trying to see the word at the bottom.
Didn't work today. It gets annoying as heck.
I do like that it says by the credits "GSN: Game Show Network" kind of.
As for the smiley face, I don't get what the "big deal" is with that. I like it. It shows someone having fun it looks like, and I like that. I'm a loyal oodler, myself still.
I caught a pop up ad for with Bible Challenge or Beat the Chefs during Chain Reaction this morning. It blocked a word too. Now that's annoying. But literally all of the time it works when they're advertising what show is next at the bottom left, and that never blocks anything good.
The problem is....the credits/end of show screen is too small, where some people might want to see the credits for some reason. The Game Show Network text though is very niceI do like that it says by the credits "GSN: Game Show Network" kind of.
That's true, but they were kind of small to begin with although now the credits are too small. I couldn't even see the credits really to begin with.
