Game show conservations during the credits question

This is something in general, but I've always wanted to know. During the credits of some shows past and present you can see the host and contestant(s) have a short conversation. What's talked about and can any former contestant shed some light on this or is it secretive?

Not to be rude, but its probably nothing. Just the host and a contestant or celebrity guest chit chatting back and forth about whatever. Credits happen, and yes they're annoying but I live through them

You're not missing much. They're probably just shooting the (s-bomb) with the host.

What does this have to do with the question?

I meant to just leave it at credits. These things happen in Jeopardy! when Alex talks to all three contestants at the end of every episode

You're talking to me like I have no idea what you're talking to me about. Which isn't true.

I was just giving another example, and another one besides Jeopardy! is Password Plus like I see every morning, Allen talking to the contestants, GSN cuts the end of the episodes out, and they're allowed to show it. No tape damage.

I think on TPiR, Bob would ask all the pretty young ladies to come back to his dressing room....

Don't know about other shows, but during Jeopardy's credits, according to Alex and a couple of contestants that have been on, their discussion is mostly about the game they had just played before.

You can't see it on the GSN reruns but one of the episodes in season 25 has Alex going to get the large piece of paper that he uses to cross clues off after reading them during the long credit roll.

I could see that being the solution, considering there's a lot to discuss. At least on Jeopardy! there's been no major fighting with judges unlike some game shows.

I think they're saying, "What do you think the people watching on TV think we're saying?"

Or, they're singing to the tune of "Shave and a Haircut," "Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah; blah, blah!"
