I agree, it IS sad, but death affects every last living, breathing, growing, reproducing creature on this planet. Celebrities are not immune to this. Besides, people die every single day. This isn't a coincidence. This is what happens. Just because a few celebrities suddenly died all within a short time period doesn't mean that 'it was written in the stars!' that they had to be snuffed out all within a short amount of time. They all had health problems, whether or not they may have known about it.
It's just what's happened. Death happens, whether or not we like it, whether or not we want it to happen.
Regardless... it's just so... so sad

Probably not worse than any other year, just that we're familiar with a lot of those who have passed away (whereas other times it might elicit a "who?" response)
But are they known by all of the music world if they did music? Science world for Science? Sports world for Sports? The list could go on and on. It depends what you consider famous enough

Wow, it was 73 last week and now 80 just yesterday. Sad to say they are dropping like flies
