I liked classic Millionaire. But, I did watch a full episode of syndicated Millionaire yesterday and I really liked it. It's a change from the classic setting that I really like. I prefer the old lifelines though. I didn't mind when they added "Switch the Question" though.

Most people never got to use or wanted to use Switch the Question since it was only available after The $25,000 level, while in every episode now Jump the Question is used, sometime twice

I think all these additional lifelines are unnecessary. As I said though, I enjoyed watching Millionaire yesterday. And for the first time in 2 years in new episodes.

I think Regis should go to ABC and say, "Look. See how successful Millionaire was in 2009 when we brought it back for an 11-night primetime event? We should do that again, but return it to the old format and axe the clock."

I think people would watch that, especially for a summer run, after this year's lack of summer game shows on ABC.

Or bring back Super Millionaire for 5-nights, again having Regis host it.

I could tell you right now, in 2009 it looked like Regis was forced into doing the show. I could tell he didn't want to do the show, even for a few episodes. He'd probably won't come back for a 15th Anniversary special in 2014, or a Super Millionaire special.
