The game show is fine, and I would watch it if they had a better host. I can not watch (listen to) the meaningless garbage that comes from the hosts mouth.

Alfonso's or Mikki's mouth zoeynal?
I've been watching the show a bit more now that I have GSN back. And with the past two or three episodes I've watched, I've noticed the show has become pretty sane as far as volume goes. Which is a very good thing. Maybe the contestant coordinator finally realized that you don't have to scream everything ever said on a game show set in order to make it exciting?
So far in the episodes I've watched this week, they haven't featured contestants that are so annoying that I've ended up rooting for them to lose (which is something that I did a lot before because they were often obnoxious). Alfonso seems to have toned down too and has improved to me. A sharp contrast between the first season and now.
Not a flawless show in my eyes but these episodes show a sign of things getting better.

Honestly, I haven't noticed anything much and I watch the show every day when I can.

GREAT DAY FOR HOCKEY! PENGUINS!!
Hi, Phimat37. This is Yanell. Do you remember me from the GSN Chat Room?
Catch 21 over the years did have its share of annoying contestants compared to Lingo, Bingo America and Chain Reaction. GSN really should have kept the mentality of Catch 21 going. It was doing very well for GSN, and could have easily have been renewed for a fifth, and by this point in time a sixth season. The Newlywed Game, Baggage, Lingo and Catch 21, and possibly 1 vs. 100 would have been a good block for GSN still.
Perfect GSN block weeknights:
5:30pm: Catch 21 (new)
6:00pm: The Newlywed Game (new)
6:30pm: Baggage (new)
7:00pm: Lingo (Engvall)
7:30pm: 1 vs. 100 (new)
If GSN didn't halt originals from September 2011 to about now, we would have a schedule like this (minus 1 vs. 100). But that's what I would have liked.
I actually discovered Catch 21 when I was sick last year and game shows were the only things that kept me calm and I happened to watch Catch 21 while the nurse examined me for my final checkup before I left the hospital and she asked "What Are You Watching Today Vinnie" and I replied Catch 21 and when the nurse looked at the TV she got shocked and said "Oh My Is That Alfonso" and I said yes. I left the hospital before I could see the bonus round and so when I got back home Catch 21 became part of my morning routine,
Vinnie
how in the world do you manage the hours doing the phraze i cant buy mondays but you can flag a tuesday. If you can find a wed just sent it last year. If your into fri dont count on thure/
Alex (from Buzzerblog) tweeted today (5/27)that it was Mikki's birthday from Catch 21. I wonder why he would just randomly tweet this, considering there was no mention of this on GSN's Facebook or Twitter.
Alex probably doesn't even know that Catch 21 has been "cancelled"
Your obsession with getting on my case for literally nothing is getting weird and annoying. I like Mikki, we get along, I've talked to her several times, I know it's her birthday, and wanted to wish her a happy one. Big friggin deal. Of course I know it's cancelled. If you know it is then I certainly do.
