    New Bible ad

Watching the end of Family Feud (Harvey 7:30pm episode), a new ad ran during the commercials. It had Foxworthy, the contestants answer some questions, as the music went to modern funk music (but it didn't sound that bad). The narrator said "Millions have Watched" and of course many other great things about the show.

But will the ad sell? American Bible Challenge this week has the America's Got Talent finale to compete against, along with X Factor and Glee's season premiere on FOX, and a new Wipeout on ABC. CBS has a repeat night

The loyal viewers might stick, the ones who are on top of things god and religion may care less about AGT, and besides I could care less about competition. The show will still do well regardless.

Oh I still expect 'Bible' to push 700K-800K or greater, then 'Chefs' will hopefully surface around 300K.

For the first week yet I didn't catch the Thursday night runs, so I'll watch the Saturday 6-8pm block

Watched Chefs until the audio messed up at my end...then turned it on later, and the audio still messed up IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT! Don't worry, though; it wasn't anything worth watching anyway.

Before that, though, I was willing to give it one more chance. No more; this leopard won't change its spots. It's too slow-paced, and it feels like the home cooks are in a no-win situation. I'll be glad when it finally bites the dust.

I looked around for ratings for last night, yet nothing notable has been printed yet.

While watching tonight's episode of The Pyramid, in addition to the two new American Bible Challenge commercials (the second one being "Road to the Finals..."), there are also new Beat the Chefs and The Pyramid ads.

To be fair, Bible Challenge doesn't really need too much advertising; its audience is pretty much established. Chefs gets far more play in ads because they know it's flailing in the ratings, and they're in last-ditch mode. It's all probably for naught, though.

I've noticed that lately. But in the past few days, 'Bible' has gotten two new commercials, 'Pyramid' has two new commercials, and 'Chefs' just has one new commercial. Beat the Chefs since "Week 3" (September 3-9) has had 5 times more advertisement than Bible/Chefs.
