That didn't seem to work well with Jimmy Snuka, with Lou Albano as his manager. Snuka became a good guy anyway. I attended a show in Philly with an ex, with the main event Snuka vs. Bob Backlund with S.D. Jones as the referee. All Jones had to do was count pinfalls, as the entire match was strictly wrestling -- no "illegalities" -- for 21:33. After Backlund pinned Snuka, he put his towel around Snuka's neck and raised his hand, as the crowd gave both men a standing ovation. Snuka's official face turn came a few weeks later.

I don't think you get it. Heenan helped get people over, regardless of heat. Vickie is just a pain in the arse, and I can't wait for her to back away from Dolph. Like I said, she does that, and I'll give Dolph a bit more credibility than I give him now.

Of course Heenan did, but I wasn't referring to that and even so, Vickie not only knows how to get heat better then Heenan ever did, but she improved the careers of Edge, Chavo, Hawkins, Ryder, Swagger, and most of course, Ziggler. Heenan did to, don't get me wrong, but so did Vickie.

Vickie is more of a pain in the ear. If she gets any louder, she'll shatter my eyeglasses.

Add to that: She barely adds anything of relevance.

Also, and on another topic altogether: I like Michael Cole a bit better after he toned down the whole "I'm so much better than everyone else" gimmick. I don't know who or what possessed him to do that, but it's much more tolerable.

And the next time Mr. Blowhard says, "May I have your attention please? ... And I quote ..." I may tell him to go kiss his Miz doll you-know-where.

It's obvious that no matter how many times you try and keep the action in the squared circle, Daniel Bryan will take the title and run to fight another day.

Solution: The next time Daniel Bryan faces Big Show, Theodore Long should make it a Falls Count Anywhere championship match. This way, the action can occur anywhere in the arena, and the count-out factor is out of play, which means D-Bryan can run, but he's fair game as long as Big Show can chase him through the corridors, locker rooms, etc. and of course the World's Largest Athlete is very potentially capable of picking him up and applying an Avalanche Splash, Power Slam, or even a Big Splash.

I'm guessing you didn't see the SD where Long made that match in which the match ended in a draw because under the script, they had Big Show smash AJ Lee where she pretended like she was KO'ed, thus pissing the crowd in attendance off, however I personally loved it because Sir Bryan is the greatest World Champion of all time.

SD! spoiler regarding their Elimination Chamber match...

    -Daniel Bryan
    -The Great Khali
    -Big Show
    -Cody Rhodes
    -Randy Orton
    -Wade Barrett

Are they serious with that second name? SD! really devoid of big named talent?

Daniel Bryan lives a vegan lifestyle, but this is the WWE, not PETA. Sooner or later, the Vegan Napoleon will meet his Waterloo, especially with the Elimination Chamber match coming up this February. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and even if D-Bryan faces and beats Big Show, he still has to confront up to 4 other contenders, according to the luck of the draw.

I will admit that Bobby Heenan is among one of the most-hated managers in the WWF/WWE, and even though Andre's World Heavyweight championship reign was short-lived, he was also a co-holder of the WWF Tag Team Championship from December 13, 1989 until April 1, 1990, when he teamed with Haku to form the Colossal Connection. They would lose the Tag Team titles to the "New Demolition" with their third member Crush; all 3 members were considered eligible under the "Freebird" rule.

Speaking of Haku, his son is now in WWE and known as "Camacho" -- Hunico's novio.

Last night's WWE divas' match lasted 1:36, probably the longest-lasting women's match of the year, because there were 8 of them in the match, yet only 4 participated. Unfortunately, Eve Torres suffered a broken nose from a Beth Phoenix closthesline.

Interesting contrast: After successfully defending his championship, Daniel Bryan dedicated the victory to AJ. On this past Friday Night Smackdown, Daniel Bryan said "this is about ME".

The current champion is nothing more than a coward. He knew AJ was still recovering, and in spite of assuring her safety, he had her stand at ringside, where the action can suddenly shift to the outer area, including the announcers' tables, ring apron, steel steps, etc. If he really cared about her safety, he wouldn't put her in harm's way, but would have her observe the match from a safer observation point, far away from the outer perimeter of the "combat zone".

I rarely find myself agreeing with Michael Cole's opinions, since he usually tends to speak well of the bad guys, but last night, his opinions of Daniel Bryan actually made sense.

In a further display of cowardice, he stepped out of the way when Big Show started charging at him, stooping so low as to have a WWE Diva play the part of a human shield.

Oh, boy. You know when Barrett was hurt in the post-Chamber battle royal? Apparently this injury's more serious than they thought.

WZ has received word that Wade Barrett's injury is more serious than a "partially dislocated elbow fixed without surgery" as everybody - including himself - first thought. Barrett finally underwent surgery in the beginning of the week and was told he'd be out for at least 3-4 months.

We are being told this is also the reason why the Money in the Bank Ladder Match has been scrapped from WrestleMania 28, as Wade Barrett was scheduled to walk away with the briefcase.
