I wish Carnie was still hosting the show, although Sherri is a very good host too. I do not like the new season 5 set though. I still don't get why GSN can't go back to something they had on season one when Carnie Wilson hosted in New York City. It was the original set and original theme music, but it was a small studio and it was recorded in New York City. Still, the show is getting the highest ratings on GSN with new episodes. It should be renewed for a sixth season in early 2012.

There were no sports on TV tonight where I live. I turned on GSN and S. Shepherd was on and discussing the orgasms of the newlyweds. This is pure trash.....and the Newlywed Game needs to be flushed.

    1. Where I live, there were two hockey games to watch.
    B. Ms. Shepherd is just jealous -- or looking for advice.

You were talking about getting tips as if she were not married.

I watch this show when it's on and admit that I haven't been watching that long. I have to say that I'm getting tired of having to watch wives answer questions about their husband's "underbrush" and such. I'm not a prude or anything but even Baggage doesn't get as raunchy as TNG does at times.

I see you're a new user, and you make a good point. I notice when Sherri is asking the husbands questions, they're usually more appropriate. Then, the questions for the wives are "dirtier". This is why I liked The Newlywed Game with Carnie Wilson, even though she wasn't the better host. The questions were more simple and less X-rated.

hey folks i got a little fun fact here that you might not even know existed

DID YOU KNOW: That GSN originally wanted Kathy Najimy to be the host of the reboot of The Newlywed Game before she left the show close to it's taping and got replaced by Carnie Wilson?

I saw that on Buzzerblog, and I have no clue who that is. Carnie Wilson is more well known from Wilson-Phillips. In this case, I liked how things planned out with the show
