Your GSN Community Forums Soundtrack
OK, so I decided to have a little bit of fun. Anyways, I know that things have been unusually quiet on these boards as of recently, and I'm kind of disappointed, so I want to raise a little bit of morale. So, I decided to do something a little fun.
A lot of times, when movies come out, or someone has a wedding or important event, they put together a mixtape or compilation CD. Since GSN.com is a fun place where plenty of stuff happens, I decided that I wanted to make a soundtrack of the members' favorite music. So, anyways, here's what I want you to do. Select a song (preferably not a game show theme) that you think symbolizes your personality or what really inspires you in life. If possible, send a YouTube link to the song so I can have a listen. Once we have a sufficient number of songs, I am then going to make a playlist on my YouTube channel and link to it in my sig of the playlist that we create here on GSN.com.
Also, when you post, kindly explain why you selected that song (and make it your favorite, for you will only get one!)
At any rate, here's my submission (for your reference): Hey Jude (live) by Paul McCartney. This was my dad's favorite song when I was little. He passed away when I was 7. I was VERY lucky to get to this concert, which was the first at the Consol Energy Center here in Pittsburgh. Many times, I'll listen to this song if I'm down in the dumps.
So, now I'd like to hear your favorites. Make 'em yours (and like I said, you can make 'em anything, but I don't want 13 posts of the theme to [I]Press Your Luck[/I and Card Sharks, please
)

Once again, you have me a little bit at a loss, because I can't say I have a "favorite" song. I don't. I have a buttload of songs I love but my tastes vary and change by day.
But if you want to fill up your jukebox, I'll give you something to put in there. It's one of my nicknames on Facebook... Steel Lord On Wheels by Hibria. Besides that, I think your jukebox needs a kick into high gear. :P
Upcoming Shows: Iron Maiden, Devore, September 13
Kamelot, Anaheim, September 21

I'm kind of in the same boat as Neko. I have a lot of songs I really like/love.
I'm going to go down the indie route, though. Neutral Milk Hotel ~ Ferris Wheel on Fire (performed live in San Francisco; April 12, 1998...one of many of their songs that was never officially released)

Yeah, I've got too many favorite songs. I'll link you to Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.

Personal favorite Reptile By The Church. Great song. This was one of the 35 songs I had the oppritunity to hear live at the Triple Door in Seattle. I really like the tune of this one, and Steve Kilbey sings it. Also one of my dad's favorite songs.

Awesome picks so far - thanks!. A couple more people would be good, and then I can begin building the playlist.
