Aubrie: Recess so the Jury can examine the evidence. Court is adjourned for 2 hours.

    *Slams gavel*

(Crowd murmurs as they leave the courtroom)

Barbara (Putting legal documentation in her briefing) : Breaking for lunch. Who's in?

(The GSN City 10 raises hands, Jury goes to examine the evidence, and Aubrie to her chambers)

Chris: I hate to say it, we've been out-studied.

    Preston: What do you mean?

Chris: Only law book we have is from the 1970's! All the laws mentioned in there won't save you.

Preston: It also doesn't help my assets have been frozen.

Chris: If you're lucky, 42 Months with a fine. Hate to find out if you're UNlucky.

Preston: I do not want to know.

    (In the Jury Room)

Juror #1: Guilty! That lady in her unmentionables nearly got a paintball in her. She could have died. I'm saying Assault with a deadly weapon.

Juror #12: Preposterous! Paintballs can't kill! Sounds like Aggravated assault.

Juror #7: What are ya, stupid? Those paintballs had Hydrofluoric acid! We had the bailiff give us a stat sheet on what it is, what it does, and other evidence to put away Preston for a while.

    (TBC by NEKO only)

    ::the Jury comes out::

Aubrie Lemon: Have you come up with a verdict?

Jury Foreman: We have your honor.

    Aubrie: What say you?

Jury Foreman: In the case of GSN City vs. Preston Richardson, we the jury find the defendant guilty of Count 1 of Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Chris: Don't worry, man. We'll get this appealed.

Preston: I think I might be kicked out of Spartan for this.

(10 minutes later, Preston has been found guilty of seven counts)

Jury Foreman: We sentence the defendant to 18 months for each count, to be served consecutively, and a fine of $3,000 for each infraction.

Aubrie: $21,000 and 10 1/2 years in prison? Okay, but we'll make it that he is ineligible for parole unless he serves 50% of the sentence. 63 months. The jury has been excused, please take Mr. Richardson into custody. By the way, my sister plays paintball, Mr. Richardson. Do you know what hydrofluoric acid does to people? You're taking a fun game and turning it into a death sentence. I hope I'm not your judge when the civil trial comes to fruition, because I would throw the book at you. As it is, I have an NVL meet and greet to attend. Yours truly is a member of the Philadelphia Liberty Belles.

Neko: So let me get this straight. Pittsburgh and Portland are going to duke it out Battle Royale style for the right to have a team called the "Perfect 10's"?

    Mandy: Uh huh... next week.

Neko: I thought the Nude Volleyball League already had 36 teams. The Des Moines Darlings were moving to Winnipeg was the big move?

Mandy: Ahhh, but Erica Campbell got an offer for $1.75 million to keep the team there. So with the $1.25 mil that Winnipeg paid, they became team #37.

Neko: And the franchise can't have an odd number of teams. That makes sense.

Mandy: Exactly. They award franchises in pairs. Since Winnipeg has a team now, we need one more team.

Neko: Have you met the girls on each team yet?

Mandy: Not yet. Although I have it on word from the Starlets that the Portland team are real sweethearts. They haven't met the Pittsburgh team yet.

Neko: Right on. Well, let's have a big party... and we can meet and greet the girls...

Neko: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Dave: That it's almost time for the annual 4th of July celebration at Riordan Beach?

Neko: Right you are! And judging by years past, this one will be bigger and better than ever! All of the usual suspects will be here, plus a few new acts you've never heard of and a few surprises!

Dave: Oh, I like! What else?

Neko: I'm working on getting some of the Stanley Cup champion Kings to come down here. I bet Mandy would like that.

Dave: I bet she would! And, if I am not mistaken, GSN 15 is using the proceedings to kick off the Lucky 13 Games of Summer.

Neko: Jamie told me the lineup is being finalized. I can't wait to see what they come up with!

    Dave: Me too!

    *Outside the Golden Road Multiplex*

Stephanie: Hey Neek, better get out your old Whammy Army uniform

Neko: You remember all that. What's the occasion?

Stephanie: The Daytime Emmys were just handed out and the man we called our Fearless Leader won Best Game Show Host for his work on Family Game Night

Neko: Whoa, that's awesome! I always liked Todd, he was a great guy

Stephanie: I know. The manager of the Multiplex told me about it, and they're going to commemorate the win by showing some episodes of the game shows Todd has hosted including Hollywood Showdown and of course Family Game Night. On June 30, they're going to show every episode of Whammy! and the April Fool's 2003 episodes of Lingo and Russian Roulette

Neko: The Lingo episode is legendary, everyone knows that. Hey, it would be kind of nice to have some of the Army back together for a little reunion

Stephanie: I hear you on that. SALUTE!! [they do the Whammy Army salute for old time's sake]

    (TBC)

Neko, to circlegirl: Oh wow! That's awesome. Fearless Leader, SALUTE! ::salutes circle::

Stephanie: So what's this about the 4th of July party?

Neko: Oh, you didn't hear. Portland beat Pittsburgh in 4 sets and won the 38th and final seed of the Nude Volleyball League. We are going to have a meet and greet. Also, we have some new acts performing. A band from Toronto called Modified will play and so will Cherri Bomb.

Dave: Those girls are young though... how we gonna get them on?

Neko: Simple. We're sectioning off 1/4 of the beach where the clothes stay on for their concert.

Dave: Brilliant! No corrupting of 14, 15 or 16 year olds!

Neko: We always find a way around. So are you ready for the big party?

Dave: Yep, and the 13 Games of Summer is going to be awesome!

Neko: Welcome to Riordan Beach's 4th of July bash! I'm very certain that this year's celebration will be the biggest and best yet! We've got a great lineup set for you, so without further delay, I hereby declare the 2012 4th of July celebration at Riordan Beach officially open! (cuts ribbon)

    (meanwhile)

Jamie: You mean Neko's letting 14-16 year olds perform at the party?

    Nate: That's what I heard.

Jamie: You know what happens when word gets out that people who aren't even old enough to drink are being corrupted? We'll all have egg on our faces!

Nate: Not to worry. A special section of the beach has been roped off...just in case.

Jamie: That's nice. Better to be safe than sorry...

    (TBC)

  9. #129
Jamie: Well, the only other thing we could have done was satellite broadcast the band from a third-party location. But they'll be performing at the far end of the beach, miles away from where any shenanigans will happen. The live music section usually is far away from the beach parties anyways...

Nate: That's a smart move. In the meantime, here comes the first of the 13 games... Whoa... he got Neil Patrick Harris here too? (he's dressed, no worries) to host a version of "The Cube"? That's awesome.

Neko: This is The Cube... 7 games, 9 lives, half a million dollars... can you beat the Cube?

Neko: Hey Steph, how are things in jolly old England?

Steph: I'm having a blast! There's a lot of things going on and the competition has been incredible!

Neko: I'll say! How are the shows doing?

Steph: The £10,000 Towel Run and Celebrity Squares are doing quite well, I'm thrilled that the Brits have caught on to what we've got on our side of the pond.

Neko: That's great! Did you bump into anyone?

Steph: No, not yet...oh crap, look at the time! Beach volleyball is getting ready to start at the Horse Guards Parade and I don't want to miss any of the action!

Neko: Well, if you do meet anyone, let me know. Have fun!

    Steph: OK, I will. Ciao.

    (after the Beach Volleyball game)

Stephanie: Holy cow... Neko! I got your favorite girl! McKayla Maroney!

McKayla: You're Stephanie from GSN 15, aren't you? I love you on the Squares!

Stephanie: Awwwhhh that's sweet. Listen, Neko has a party for girls but only the ones over 18.

McKayla: Sorry, Stephanie. I won't be there for another year and a half. But I know someone who will party with him wearing only that gold medal.

    Stephanie: Who?

McKayla: The only member of our team that can make his parties... Aly Raisman. And then she'll get dressed and she'll introduce everyone else to him.

    Stephanie: Really?

McKayla: Well, we're all fans of yours... even Gabby Douglas thinks you're cool, but we wanted to meet the two of you.

    Stephanie: No way... really?

McKayla: Of course. We'll be back in the U.S.A. after the Olympics. You won't mind extending that party a little longer, will you?

Stephanie: Will Neko ever be happy! Wait for me to tell him!

Hope: Hey, you're the girl from GSN15! We're all big fans of the Squares!

Steph: Awww, that's so sweet! Neko has a pretty big party for the girls and I bet you all would be in on it!

Alex: I've heard all about Neko and those parties of his! They're pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

Hope: We're returning to the States after the games, so we can't wait to meet you both.

Steph: Wait till Neko hears about this!

::Stephanie arrives in GSN City on Flight 558 from London's Heathrow airport::

Stephanie: It's good to be back on Terra Firma, don't you agree?

Neko: I never liked flying. So how was London?

Stephanie: Oh Neko. It was fantastic. The age of consent is 16 over there. Maybe I should send you over there, you horndog. ::ribs:: seriously. I got to meet some great people, including your buddy Philip Schofield and guess what?

    Neko: What up?

Stephanie: The Fierce Five are going to go to your party. However, only Aly Raisman is over 18 so she'll party with you, then get dressed and introduce you to the rest of her team! You'll still be able to party, but like with me, all the clothes will be on...

    Neko: SCORE!

Stephanie: I knew you'd like that. By the way, bring something to autograph. Because I'm more than sure they'll sign something for you.

Neko: Awesome. You think of everything!

    Stephanie: That's me!

Jamie: So how did London go?

Steph: It was amazing! I met lots of interesting people!

Jamie: What's up with Neko and the Fierce Five?

Steph: Aly Reisman is the only one allowed because she is over 18. No worries, she'll introduce him to the rest of the gang.

Jamie: And what's this I hear about the US women's soccer team being there?

Steph: Two, actually. Here's a hint-they're arguably the two most popular players on the squad.

Jamie: Really? Well, Neko's probably gonna have his hands full.

Steph: Right you are, Jamie. Right you are.

    (TBC by the usual suspects)
