They're airing the Valentine's Day 1986 episode of $25K Pyramid right now as I post this.
I'm surprised GSN didn't skip this, seeing they skip Christmas, Halloween, etc.

Well, tonight GSN is airing episodes of The $25,000 Pyramid from October/November 1986, and on the usual weekdays are airing episodes from late June 1986.
I think it's time to get this thread back into full swing.
It's really good to see GSN airing these episodes apart, instead of repeating the episodes on Friday nights as they did in the mornings. It still makes me wonder how many episodes this lease is. Hopefully this lease won't get burned through so fast like Card Sharks.
It's going to be interesting to see how 25K does in ratings now
Monday episode of the Jo Anne Worley & Nipsey Russell week is on.
Of the four CBS Daytime game shows that were airing new episodes at the time, only Press Your Luck and The Price is Right (info on the latter per the TPIR Timeline) were not pre-empted on Friday to commemorate the restoration of Lady Liberty.
So I think we're seeing repeat of episodes of The $100,000 Pyramid from the lease we previously had. But I really like the return of both Pyramids, especially with "never before seen" episodes for $25,000 Pyramid at 10:30am. I'm happy with that for now, considering in the Fall they will probably get taken away with the new versions of The $100,000 Pyramid
I am new to the board, so I apologize if I am asking something that veterans would know! I have a friend who was a contestant on the $25,000 Pyramid in June, 1987. He has lost the video tape of his episode, and I want to replace it for him. I have recorded the show for about two or three years, EVERY DAY, and I just don't think his episode is part of what GSN runs. I would record it from my DVR if I ever snagged the episode! It sounds like from my brief scanning of this board that perhaps new shows are being added. In the meanwhile, and because his birthday is soon, I'd like to see if there's a way I can purchase a copy. So, you experts, please answer me this:
1) Would I talk to CBS about this? Bob Stewart productions? Who?
2) If purchasing an episode straight from the source is not an option, can someone give me other options?
I really appreciate this so much! Thank you in advance!
P.S. It's with Anne Bloom and Chris Lemmon.
I wouldn't know which company to talk to, probably CBS, but I don't think you can just purchase episodes of The $25,000 Pyramid, and I doubt they are sold on DVD
Anyone catch the Johnny Olson reference on today's $25K Pyramid? That was awesome!
On tonight's marathon of $25,000 Pyramid, did they skip the November 11, 1986 episode? They played November 10, 1986 earlier and replaying it now.
If so, I can see why it may be skipped. References to Veteran's Day may have been mentioned on that episode.
Given that they are airing 2 rotations of $25,000 Pyramid, don't be surprised if the "new-to-GSN" episodes on this lease burn out by August or September. Trust me, it will likely be burned the same way Card Sharks did.
Hmm, given the fact that some people don't watch the Friday Night block, and some people don't watch the 10:30am/3:00am episodes, I doubt they'll get burned out too fast.
My boys (who are 14 and 11) and I watched last night. Clark Pyramid was on years before either of them was even born, and they love it. It's good to see this group of episodes brought out of the vault after 20+ years.
