Sadly after his stroke in 2004, Dick Clark did mess up on the New Years' Eve countdowns. He counted "10, 8, 6, 9, 4". That's just an example, but it happened almost like that. This was in 2005, going into 2006.

It was going into 2009 unless it happened more than once.

I've watched $25,000 Pyramid with Cullen as a guest. Anyone notice during the intros when they show the logo, that the background is blue?

As I mentioned in the other thread, the male contestant we've been seeing the past 3 days on $25k is Paul Feig, the guy who eventually became an actor, director (one of the things he's most known for directing recently is the movie Bridesmaids), and was the creator of the short-lived series Freaks and Geeks. It's was nice to see him win big yesterday. He's a good player.

I didn't say he didn't mess up, I'm saying it wasn't as bad as your example of counting down random numbers.

You know, it's actually weird, because I saw something like "10, 8, 6, 11, 4" countdown on a webpage somewhere for Dick Clark's countdown, and I slightly remember that. Maybe that webpage was taken down after Clark's death.

Also, if you Google Dick Clark 9 out of 10 of the first webpages are from April 18, 2012

It was too bad. Cullen was actually a really good player on The $25,000 Pyramid today, and the rest of this week. He's been one of the better celebrities lately in the cycle of episodes.

Also "a mistake on a page" is descriptive as well, prepositional phrases aren't allowed.

I disagree, I didn't think today was one of his better days...he missed on giving some obvious clues that would have made the guesses go a lot more smoothly/quicker. I'll re-watch the episode when I get home to give examples.
