Oh wow. That's a shock to me. My mistake. I must have been mistaking the 100K Pyramid episodes with 25K, which I've been doing the past 6-9 months. I'm glad both are on GSN right now weekdays, and one with a new lease (25K) and maybe a new lease for 100K soon

If you didn't see the original broadcasts of $25,000 Pyramid, and you didn't get USA Channel where you live, this is the first time some of us have ever seen these episodes, and that's what makes it really special for me, and is one of the reasons why I still support then network. Even if not all of their decisions are in the best interests of the game show viewer, they usually come back and bring us some nice Classic surprises.

I don't get why they aired on "USA" in the 90's. Looking at their programming now, that type of shows wouldn't go on that network

USA was a different network back in the 1990's though and had blocks of sitcoms, game shows, cartoons, etc. Different people were running things back then.

I could see why USA Network took off game shows, with GSN starting in 1994, even though back then GSN didn't have too much competition against anyone, and low viewership.

    WOW

$100,000 win this morning on The $100,000 Pyramid. The female contestant who played with who else: Markie Post, walked out with a total of $129,000. Almost everybody from the audience came up on the stage

    Note:

Today starts the Rita Moreno & Earl Holliman week. This week was skipped over entirely in 1990 (the last time the 1986 episodes were shown prior to GSN). When USA was running $25K Pyramid, they would often skip over a whole week of shows during the last week of August, and show only the Monday and Friday episodes of the following week, (during the first week of September) due to Tennis/Golf preemptions.

Dick Clark said it was September 1st and the Labor Day special, so that's the correct episode

Still laughing at that moment from yesterday when that lady confused the CBS logo with NBC's. lol. That was a cute moment.

Thank you. Finally someone explained to me why Dick Clark was laughing his head off running off the set. Too bad I was in and out of the room.

Watched 3 different episodes of The $25,000 Pyramid this morning, from my DVR.

2 of those episodes were funny, and are on Brandon's channel. "You Have Broken the Pyramid." Now that was funny . And the "Things With an Eye" was good too.

The other one was a February 1987 episode with a $25,000 win. I am looking forward to the All*Star Week on Friday.

That was recently. We also had in the Main Game where the board was stuck and Dick Clark adked "What are you guys doing, having a party back there?", and then the situation in the Winners Circle where the clear piece with the clue fell doww

There must've been skippages this last Friday. It seems they skipped the Thursday and Friday episodes of the Adrienne Barbeau & Brian Mitchell week, and the Monday episode of the Florence Henderson & David Naughton week. Would I be correct?
