Heidi Bohay
Heidi hails from the small town of South Bound Brook, New Jersey. Her parents still own a mom and pop ice cream store on Main Street that Heidi and her sister Tammy grew up in. She began modeling and doing commercial work in New York City at the age of sixteen. Immediate commercial success brought Heidi to Hollywood where she picked up guest starring roles in shows like "Happy Days," "Chips," and "Buck Rogers." The feature film "Superstition" soon followed and the role of Grace Kelly's little sister in the television movie "The Grace Kelly Story" seemed a sign of good things to come.
In 1983, Heidi landed the role of Megan Kendall in Aaron Spelling's long running ABC hit series that starred James Brolin, Connie Sellecca and Anne Baxter. "Hotel" ran for five years and was an exciting place for a young actress to be with guest stars such as Elizabeth Taylor, George Clooney, Steve Allen, Bette Davis and Ginger Rogers checking in and out of the lobby every week.
In 1988, fantasy became reality as Heidi married her "Hotel" husband and co-star Michael Spound. Their first child arrived in 1989. In 1990, Heidi became the host of the nationally syndicated late night magazine show "After Hours."
Heidi's hosting career took off with the long running "American Baby Show" for The Family Channel, "PrimeTime Tonight" for NBC and the syndicated and Emmy award winning home show "Better Homes And Gardens." Heidi has also achieved tremendous success as a host in the world of infomercials with Victoria Principal's "Principal Secret," Time/Life's platinum hit recordings of "The Love Collection," and most recently, the record setting sales of the Nu-Wave oven!
Heidi lives happily with her husband Michael and their three sons in Los Angeles.
